Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set the conditions for visiting Pickens County Busted Mugshots and using its links, explanations, and search tools. By accessing the pages, a visitor agrees to these terms. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the service. The pages are a private reference resource, not an official government record system.

Pickens County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not affiliated with a sheriff, jail, police department, court, corrections agency, or other government body. It does not provide official records, private-investigation services, or consumer reports. Neither the service nor its advertising partners offer FCRA-covered services. It only helps visitors locate public-record resources in Pickens County and Georgia.

Nature of the Service

The pages contain explanatory text, links, local contact information, and pointers to third-party tools. They store no official jail roster, booking photo, arrest file, or court docket. The service cannot confirm custody, release a person, file a request, or change an agency record.

Government offices, courts, GDC, federal locators, publishers, and search partners control their own information. A booking photo or arrest charge is an accusation-stage record. A final court disposition may differ.

Acceptable Use

Visitors agree to use the pages lawfully and with respect for the people and agencies referenced. The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Breaking a law or directing another person to break one.
  • Stalking, harassing, threatening, intimidating, or targeting a person.
  • Attempting unauthorized access to the pages, servers, tools, or accounts.
  • Running bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated requests that burden the service.
  • Interfering with availability, security, or another visitor’s use.
  • Copying or republishing page material in a way that violates these terms or another party’s rights.

FCRA Restrictions

Pickens County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks, and neither it nor its ad partners provides a screening service.

Visitors agree not to use any page, link, search result, record reference, or information obtained through a partner tool for a purpose covered by the FCRA, including:

  • Employment, hiring, promotion, firing, or other job decisions.
  • Tenant selection, housing access, or landlord screening.
  • Creditworthiness, lending, insurance pricing, or policy decisions.
  • Licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or similar determinations.
  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Outside Links and Tools

The pages link to the Pickens Sheriff, Jasper Police, JailTracker, the Pickens County Clerk, state and federal locators, news outlets, legal resources, and outside search tools. Those destinations may change, go offline, collect data, charge fees, or publish information that is incomplete. The service does not endorse their content, guarantee their availability, or control their terms and privacy practices. Review the destination’s rules before using it.

No Warranties

All pages and links are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no warranty is made that the information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, free of errors or malicious code, or exhaustive. Partner search results may be incomplete, and custody records can change without notice.

Nothing on the pages is an official statement from the Pickens Sheriff’s Office, a court, GDC, a city police department, or another government agency. Visitors must verify a record with its originating office.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pickens County Busted Mugshots and its owners, operators, contributors, and service providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or similar damages arising from access to, inability to access, or reliance on the pages, links, tools, or information.

Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the service and its owners, operators, contributors, and providers from claims, losses, costs, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from the visitor’s use of the pages, breach of these terms, unlawful conduct, or violation of another person’s rights.

Ownership and Permission

Unless another owner is identified, the text, page layout, graphics, logos, and code belong to Pickens County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. No material may be copied, distributed, altered, sold, or republished without written permission or a legal right that applies independently. Government and publisher material remains owned by its respective source.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when posted, unless a later effective date is stated. Continued access after a change indicates acceptance of the updated wording.

Suspension or Termination

Access may be limited, suspended, or blocked at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected abuse, security concerns, unlawful activity, excessive automated requests, or a breach of these terms. Ending access does not remove provisions that by their nature should continue.

Georgia Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. To the extent a dispute may be filed in court, the parties agree to the jurisdiction and venue of a court located in Georgia, subject to any law that requires a different forum.

Severability and Questions

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The affected language should be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.

Questions about these terms may be sent through Contact Us. Questions about custody, charges, warrants, or court outcomes must go to the appropriate official office.
